Released on August 10th, 2013, Leadville Cherokee’s self-titled EP has four original tracks as well as one cover by Delta Rae. This EP encompasses the band’s eclectic mix of styles and feeling, covering several genres from soul to hard rock. All songs were recorded and engineered live in CU Denver’s Core studio by Leadville Cherokee bassist Brian Carter, showing not only the band’s musical prowess, but also their firm grasp of the fact that creating spontaneous, original, soulful music is key to their success.
